Ghana

For me, being in Ghana is synonymous with being around great food. With a coast, a tropical interior and a desert-like region to the north, the range of food in Ghana is very diverse and always exciting.

A delicious way of flushing out cold or flu.
You can enjoy your light soup with fufu, or on its own.

A dish made from cocoyam leaves (a good substitute is spinach if cocoyam leaves are unavailable).

This black-eyed pea sauce is usually eaten as an accompaniment to fried plantain, which, I’m convinced, is good for the soul.
